Short Breaks Activities

Musical Keys is a Norfolk County Council-approved provider of Short Breaks (intended to give disabled children and their families a break from their caring responsibilities). We are offering the following services from April 2018 onwards.

These services can be accessed and funded by Short Breaks budgets, and also by adult personal budgets, direct payments and other means.  If you are unsure about whether you can or should book onto any of the activities, please get in touch on 01603 766690 or email info@musicalkeys.co.uk for more information.

What: Enabling young people with additional needs to try variety of progressive arts activities, that range from traditional (song-writing, rock school) to cutting edge (creative coding, green screen movie making). Sessions consist of a central group activity where participants can work as part of a team or focus on a personal objective. Activities are often connected to the community or cover themes pertinent to Norwich and Norfolk.

Where: Create, Old Church Hall, The Street, Trowse, Norwich, NR14 8SX

When: April 11th / May 30th / August 1st, 15th & 29th / October 24th / February (2019) 20th. Sessions will run in school holidays, 10am-3pm, (5 hour day)

Who For: Short Breaks budget holders aged 12-18 years, other types of budget holders 12-25 years old. Low -moderate level of support

Cost: £195 with 1:1 support / 95 if own support provided or not required per 5 hour session.
